Roodhouse Public Library was founded in May of 1926. We have remained in the same building since, expanding and adding on as needs required us to do so. We are a city library supported by taxes from the city and a few small grants from the government. We rely on fines, and other fees that we charge, as well as donations from supporters to finance us. We invite everyone to come in and take advantage of the Roodhouse Public Library and its many services.
