The mission of Teen Challenge Illinois is to provide successful faith-based solutions to individuals of all ages who are dealing with life-controlling issues, such as drug and alcohol addiction. Teen Challenge endeavors to help people become: mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, spiritually alive. Teen Challenge is one of the most effective drug recovery programs in America, simply because moral development and spiritual development go hand-in-hand. Drugs and alcohol are not the central focuses of the Teen Challenge program; building character and moral training are vital for overcoming addiction.

Teen Challenge of Peoria Redemption Center is a 24-hour residential center for men age 18 and older who are dealing with drug and/or alcohol addictions. Teen Challenge is a faith-based ministry, which believes there is a cure for drug addiction, alcoholism and life-controlling problems. Our goal is to help hurting people become whole persons in a broken world.

The Young Professional Organization of Greater Peoria (YPOGP) is a group made up of 20 and 30-somethings who have a mutual interest in social and business networking, community involvement, and professional development. Our goal is to promote Peoria as an exciting place to live, work, and play.
